ooh la la, time to take baths more often. cuz it's not just about getting clean. apparently, it's been practiced since the days of the ancient Greeks and Romans to increase health and heal ailments.

the yoga journal wrote: "Like yoga, it's also a great way to melt away stress and bring the body back into a more balanced state."

a soak in the tub = blood vessels dilate, circulation increases, muscles relax, and nervous system chills out.

i get college credit for watching movies and they're way good movies! To Be and To Have, a documentary about a teacher in France who mirrors my mom's teaching talents and The General are two of my favorites so far.

i am not my body

i seized the opportunity to watch NieNie speak at BYU. it was called Recapturing Beauty. she spoke beautifully about inward appearance mattering more than outward. there was so many people, i had to stand for an hour. but it was worth it. fyi, Nie survived a near fatal plane crash with over 80 percent of her body burned.
